I just wanted to check if there are any news on the new album? Are all of the separately recorded parts already put together to entire songs?
Can we expect some teaser in the near future? Otherwise it would be a very long wait until March/April...
Cheers!

Hi there!
I guess we have been lazy when it comes to keeping you updated...
Everything is recorded now and sent to Johan (the engineer, not mr bass... ) who will add the last vocals to the rest of the songs.
I'm really looking forward to hear all the finished songs. It's been a while now since the music was mixed and I hardly remember what it all sounded like... :)
I can't guarantee that there will be any teasers available but I'll see what I can do... :p

oh, I guess you are smart enough, otherwise you couldn't come up with amazing drum patterns... but maybe you don't want to make it obvious for anyone, so you hide like the wolf in sheepskin... right? :)

There are 10 songs on the album. 11 on the japanese version.

Well, then I'll have to search for the japanese version... :)

Haven't I told you all how Bonus Tracks are nothing if not a truly bad idea?
If there's a version of an album with fewer tracks out there then that's the one you should get.
The more tracks you take out the higher the overall quality.

Are you gonna tell us that a song with your voice on it is not high quality???
hm... strange... thought that every of your songs is worth listening to... but good to know that it's not...
Seriously, sometimes bonus tracks do not really make an album better... when you told me the 2nd cd of MotD just contains songs of several other bands, I lost my interest and just ordered the original.
Some time before christmas I was at a local record store and found 'Operation Mindcrime' for just € 4,99. As I didn't had this album yet, I immediately bought it - including two bonus tracks. And though I spin it quite often, I listened to the bonus tracks only once...
On the other hand, I really like the bonus track on Serenity's 'Fallen Sanctuary'...

This makes no sense does it?
So what you are saying is that you should not get the album with bonus tracks (more tracks).
Then you say that the quality will be better with more tracks.
If that would be the case I would believe the bonus track-album would have better quality. But, what makes the quality change between albums of different number of tracks?
Well, you are probably just writing something that makes no sense, you probably mean that the record without the bonus tracks would have better quality, due to exclusion of the bonus tracks.
oh shit, ok, "the more tracks you can take out"... that is exclude... so "more" is less. I get it, but, the reason for the higher quality can not be due to physical characteristics of the CD anyway.

Well, it looks like Urban finally have gotten into drinking alcohol becouse the bonus track is the pearl in this albums oyster! The level of songwriting in this masterpiece is beyond fantastic and I'll probably end up earning a fortune once the radio stations get this golden puppy spinning...

Ok, no problem... just let us pass the question on to the other bandmembers
As for the Tabula Rasa release date - take a look here, guys:
http://www.rockreport.be/releases.asp
It's scheduled for 26th of April and you can view the cover:)
And as for the bonus tracks.. Perhaps it's true the less tracks the better album. There are exceptions, though. One of them is Hardline 'Double Eclipse' - bonus track in Japanese version roxxxxx. I think (some of) you guys like the album since Urban included 'Rhythm from a red car' in his 'setlist' (in a different topic..) :)

Ah yes, thanks, just checked it... and the cover again shows the mascot from Nosferatu and Book of the Dead. On the new cover the way the head is placed reminds me somewhat of Iron Maiden's Eddie. Has "he" already also a name or shall we just call him "bloodbound's mascot"? :)
Bonus tracks? The limited edition of Tabula Rasa will contain a video called "A year with Bloodbound". The crucial question now is: is it worth watching?

I may well be the only one in the band that knows that song.
(Not counting Fredrik, the go to guy whenever you want to know anything about an artist/album.)
