Not too early for me. :) My Yule started at sunset on 12/20 and last 12 nights. Woo-hoo! Here's some pics of my Yule tree and harrow. Had to turn the flash off to really capture the light of the tree.

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday!

Okay, I tried to post the images, but couldn't get them sized and posted before the timeout expired. Oh well. :(

This is a Merry Christmas to all Christians and non-Christians. I love you all and wish you all a Happy Holiday !!

I once heard a Jewish guy say this on TV many years ago...... "We don't believe in Christmas, but we consider it a special time of year to celebrate life with our family and friends."
I would also like to say that for every Christian out there that wants to tell you how to live your life, you have ten that don't practice what they preach. Having said all of that, you have a chosen few (but still a great many mind you) that love you for who you are and lead simply by example. They will love you until their dying breath whether you turn your life over to Christ or not. I know a few people like the latter..... and my personal belief matters not. The fact that I know people like that truly makes me blessed.

I've known good folk of all faiths and respect those who walk the path they profess to follow. At Yule-tide, I'm reminded of the kinship we share with all folk. It's a time for gathering with friends and loved ones, celebrating our victories of the past year, and toasting to bright hopes for the new year. For me, it is one of the most beautiful times of year. I only wish we had snow! Alas, we've yet to get a really heavy snow this snow. Do the rest of you have snow where you are?

Sweetey I live in mid-East Alabama, I would turn into Chicken Little probably if it snowed here. I might think it is nuclear fallout or something and freak out. Nice reply though. My original reply was a little stemmed from all of the Christian bashing at the PPUSA forum on the "Merry Christmas" post. I brought it in here unintentionally. Some wished each other a Merry Christmas, then went on a rampage about Christians and religion. I thought that was a bit contradictory. It's all good though. I like your reply.

Yeah, I guess snow in the deep south would be seen as an ill omen from the sky gods. Heheh. My question was directed more towards folks in the snow belts.

I wasn't aware of the bashing at the PPUSA site, but then I've done little more than browse there the past few days. Sucks to hear that folks can't be kind to each other, especially at this time of year. I'm not Christian and so don't celebrate Christmas, however, if somebody wishes me a "Merry Christmas", I don't take offense. People mean well.

On that note, Happy Hannakwanzmas and a Good Yule!
