I was going through my CD collection and I picked out "Mechanical resonance." I got my butt kicked by this. Cool stuff.

It is indeed an awesome album. I remember hearing 'Cumin' Atcha Live' on 'RockBox'. (A metal show on Swedish radio. Those were the days, huh?).
I decided it was an album I absolutely had to have so I got it at first opportunity. My favorite track, today, is 'Modern Day Cowboy'.
Tesla after, MR? I sort of lost interest wen all you got to hear was one long unplugged session after the other... I believe I might have been overly dismissive. Does that sound anything like me..? :D
Well, the album they made after MR, "The great radio controversy" I think it was called, had some great tunes too.
But after that they just went downhill.

I ADORE Mechanical Resonance... TGRC, I like quite a lot. They've put out a few good songs since then, but that's about it. Although the last album was pretty good overall, nothing really stuck with me.
Urban and I actually listened to MR on the way to FL for our honeymoon last year. There areen't a lot of albums we both like, believe it or not, but that's one of them. :)
I've always like Tesla. Had never heard of them and saw them open for Def Leppard. They hit the stage playing "coming at you live" and completely blew me away. I had to travel to New Mexico 2 days after that show and remember going to a mall in NM to pick up the cd. Some of the former members of Tesla put together a band called Moon Dog Mane. They played at Jaxx about 6 years ago. Kinda of a southern rock sound. Picked up their cd. Haven't heard anything on them in awhile though.

I like the album "Into the Now" (2004). Thats totally diffrent from 1986 and I donīt know how many original members are still in the band.
