I would like to recommend a live album. I guess it comes as no surprise if I say it's a Peter Gabriel (http://petergabriel.com) album. :)
Somehow, the songs on this album are much better than the studio versions. ...and I love them too soo there you go... Sure, I bet this albums chock-full with overdubs but when the end product is this good... I'm not one to complain... So what is it?
'Secret World Live' of course! :D
Check out 'Blood of Eden' in particular. Paula Cole (http://www.paulacole.com/)'s performance here is simply, simply beautiful. While Sinéad O'Connor (http://www.sinead-oconnor.com/) was really good on the album, this, to me, is so much better.

I should say a lot more about this album but no, listen, ...please, and tell me what you think.

Now for your recommendation*

I definitely prefer Secret World Live as well... by the way, do you have the CD case for this, my love? I can't seem to find it. :)

1 CD that I would recommend... hmmm, don't know... how about Marillion, Marbles? It has a wonderful variety of songs and sounds, and some "new classics" as well, such as Ocean Cloud and Neverland. It has only one track I don't care for on the whole two-album version, Angelina. Not sure what all's included on the regular one-disc version, but it is definitely worth a few listens. Why songs like "You're Gone" and "Don't Hurt Yourself" weren't big hits, I have no idea.

I hope they play Neverland live at the Convention! :)

Hmm .... Marillion... they are good.....I like the album Seasons End.... but also Misplaced Childhood.....I like that album because you can hear every song by it self or the whole album as one song....

but my favorite song with Marillion is Easter from Seasons End.....

I didnt even know they had a whole convention for Marillion...for Star wars and Star Trek and such things....but for bands? well its cool....and I hope you two have a great time there....
grab a sovunier (how you now spell it) for me :D

I have another one. Perhaps you heard off them. They are called House of Tintern and one perticular track on their unreleased demo has a very interesting story about a "jester" (narr in swedish) that doesn´t end very happily.

I have a very strange recommendation.... a retro radio-rock band from Australia called Jet. Their latest release entitled "Shine On" is really good. Some of it sounds like later Beatles, some like The Faces and some similar to early AC/DC. Three different guys sing lead, so there is quite a bit of diversity. Cool stuff.

I would recommend almost everything Dave Mustaine has ever done.
Besides that here's a great track with Urban you all should have a listen to:

And my special recommendation to The Adler is: "När storfiskaren talar om"
with Tore skogman.

You're probably right. I never did check but I thought they all sang. I believe you own more Triumph albums than I do. I only have the one..."Thunder Seven".

An old Genesis member Steve Hackett did Spectral Morning after the break with the band. A realy good instrumental album!

Judas Priest latest live in Japan. Man after all these years that guy still can pretty much hold it down with any group out there.

I did notice way move live reverb effects on the tails of his power holding notes to get way more sustain than he can on his own anymore. However, it was a cool effect done tastelfully and Rob Halford still has great pipes.

Highly recommended live DVD to watch.

I wonder if it was that dvd Bergh showed me last time I was there. I don't believe it could've been. Halford was struggling on every song. Then again, I hear he's pretty much hit or miss with live shows. Spot on the one night and completely worn out the other. Sadly, I've never seen Judas Priest live. Yes, shame on me... :)
