Ave

Do you think that listening to certain kind of music includes certain point of views, as they concern religion, politics and mental state of health?

I used to be told, that because I listen to goth music I must be depressed and suicidal, a satanist who kills little animals at fullmoon on a cemetary and left wing extremist.
All nonsens!!!
I´m a very positiv person. Well it´s true, I love to take a walk on the cemetary at foolmoon.

Have you been confronted with such things too?

What would it look like, if you´d act like someone who loves metal music?

Do you think ppl should choose their music, by their behaviour?

I think people who listen to certain genres of music are *more likely* to share *certain* viewpoints and/or chracteristics... i.e., those who listen to country are more likely to be conservative, while those who listen to rock are more likely to be more liberal. Or those who listen to classical are more likely to be wealthier. However, as with any other large group of people, you're going to find that there will be many very diverse people within that group.

Lots of people stereotype (waitaminnit, is that in itself a stereotype???), and while stereotypes exist for a reason (that is, they tend to be true about some people), anyone who makes broad generalizations and expects everyone to conform to those narrow descriptions is just plain silly. :p
