In this thread you can talk about formula 1.

Myself, I'm looking forward to the the new season...

Kimi in a new team....unfortunately a team I dont like...
but I hope for his sake that he gets a car that can take him to the finish line every race... and that'll be competitive in the championchip...

Me, personally, I want to see this at the end of the season:
Kimi World champion :wub-anim:
McLaren takes the manufacturers championship...

Feel free to post you comments

P.S I know I'm not very logic in my thinking since kimi is in a Ferrari this season D.S

I feel exactly like you do. If Kimi takes the title I can´t be more happy but still Maclaren is the number one Team for me. I would love Ferrari if it wasn´t for the stupid german. Irvine and Barrichello was OK but not the german!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What have ruined F1 since 94 is the the begining of the Schumi years...when he first started in Jordan I was thrilled to see a new driver that had that something extra..
But when he did that move against Damon Hill in 95....that pissed me off....and then when he did it again in 97 8but i was reliefed when he got a full point reduction and a season DQ for it) but then the Ferrari and schumi "runs" the show start...I feel sorry for all the teammates that HAD to stay behind him at all costs.... we all saw it on A1...

well now he is gone...I really hope that we can get nice and clean racing....with some serious championship fighting.... with close racing... :D

I have seen a couple of pics on the new McLaren and the new Ferrari...
my thought on those are that Mclaren should have another livery.....otherwise I just love it....I hope it will run better the last year...
and the Ferrari looks good too.....but I havent seen any times from the tests that I can compare to the other teams....
but I saw that Super Acuri has been really approving their car...they were faster then both Renault and BMW and toyota.....

here is a few times from Jarez... the best times from the whole test
the condition of the track during the whole test was dry:

Pos-Driver-Team-Car-Time-Diffrence-laps

01-H. Kovalainen -Renault-R27-1'19''185- -- -207
02-A. Davidson-S. Aguri-SA06-1'19''628-+0''443-258
03-G. Fisichella-Renault-R27-1'19''766-+0''581-261
04-N. Rosberg-Williams-FW28-1'20''059-+0''874-75
05-K. Nakajima-Williams-FW28-1'20''393-+1''208-225
06-T. Sato-S. Aguri-SA06-1'20''688-+1''503-118

A. Davidson keeps up his good testdriver role.....still drives fast....despite what car he drives....

and BMW Sauber and McLaren was testing on Valencia
same condition were the same as on Jarez:

Pos-Driver-Team-Car-Time-Diffrence-laps
01-F. Alonso-McLaren-MP4-22-1'12''053- -- -59
02-R. Kubica-BMW S.-F1.07-1'12''099-+0''046-101
03-N. Heidfeld-BMW S.-F1.07-1'12''169-+0''116-86

looks very even amongst BMW and Mclaren...

any thoughts?

EDIT:

latest test on ferrari which both F. Massa and K. Raikkonen were attending.
Copied from F1-live.com:

In overcast and sometimes wet conditions, today was the first day of testing this week for Ferrari, working at Vallelunga’s 'Piero Taruffi' circuit.

Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa took to the track and for the Finn this marked his debut at the wheel of a Ferrari Formula 1 car, as he drove the 248 F1, while his Brazilian team-mate was entrusted with the new F2007.

The day’s technical programme comprised of Raikkonen getting to know the car, while Massa concentrated on development of the new car.

Massa put 74 laps on the new Ferrari with a best lap of 1:14.493 seconds, while Raikkonen completed 39 laps with a best of 1:15.226s.
