Friends and fans of Soulbinder-

Given the surge of tribute songs, albums, and videos being produced by various artists in the wake of Dio’s passing, Michael and I would like to underscore the fact that our decision to produce our cover of “Heaven and Hell” was made soon after learning of Ronnie James Dio’s illness, with recording beginning a full month prior to Dio’s passing. Our decision to produce this cover was made strictly to honor the life and work of one of our great influences. The song is being shared freely with friends and fans in loving memory of one of rock and metal’s greatest heroes. Soulbinder is earning no profits from its circulation.

With love and respect.

RIP Ronnie James Dio

Hey Jen,

Heaven and Hell is one of my most favorite Black Sabbath / Dio songs, so it is and will be hard for any band to cover it in a way that I like! Well, however, you did a great cover version! :)

Musicwise I easily liked it, but I was a bit surprised that I like your (female) vocals that much! You have a unique voice and while I usually don't like female vocals, you already know that I love your voice - ever since I saw that youtube video with you and Urban.

You sing this song with much emotion and passion, and apart from a few words (the last syllables) I consider your performance as really well done! Especially the fast part at the end of the song is great!

So, thumbs up!
